Please Dust The Lampshades

That's what Cynthia said. Shouldn't take long, I thought.

I thought it would be just as easy to remove the shades and wash them, but first I had to take the light bulbs out. The photo shows what happened. After the first two bulbs broke away from the metal bases I decided it wasn't such a good idea. I hope the other bulbs don't need to be replaced soon.
