$199 Toilet Seat!

I thought I was dreaming when I saw a toilet seat with a price of $199 -- in Costco -- but I soon realized this is much more than just a toilet seat. It actually converts a toilet into a very sophisticated bidet, with heated water wash and air drying, plus a remote control!

After reading this review, I don't think it's expensive for what it does, but it's hardly a necessity. I was going to trot out my "only in America" line here, but it wouldn't be apropos. It's possible to spend several thousand dollars on a toilet in Japan -- read this article and be amazed.
