Enjoying the sunshine

Is this what is known as an Indian summer? Saturday jobs done, our neighbours are out enjoying the sunshine. C and R have decorated their buns for the children's category at the Village Show tomorrow and this year I have an interest as I've entered some blips into the Photography section (as has Corinthian Good luck Corinne!) so they are already blu-tacked to the display boards in the huge permanent tent which belongs to the Horticultural Society. As I left an elderly Society member commented, 'They sometimes curl with the dew but I'm sure they'll be fine'...........! Tomorrow the brass band will be playing, home made cakes and tea will be on sale, the daggers will be out in the flower arranging section and another lovely Village tradition will continue...
