Loch Cluanie

Another stunning Autumn day in the north of Scotland, unfortunately this was taken on our way home. We left brother AIME and his gang up in the Glen and enjoyed superb views until the sky clouded over, as we travelled south.

This loch is so low, we actually saw one of the houses that were flooded as the water filled the reservoir. The north of Scotland has had a superb dry summer, but this has taken it's toll on the water stores. No doubt the winter will supply a surplus as usual. Meantime, the reflections on this sheltered surface had all the traffic stopping for a photo.

Back to work tomorrow and perhaps my lost/ mispkaced phone will be recovered from my Sister in law's car.
I have missed it.
