A quiet reflection

A still and grey day, not a breath of wind and the water looked like glass. This is part of the estuary, high tide and some fine reflections.
A hectic day at work - making moveable skeletons which involved a lot of cutting out and piercing with split-pins, not always in the right place. The classroom asssitant was away - mayhem - this really was a two woman job.
Some sad news concerning an ex-parent, one of those cases where you always wonder if more could have been done to help - personally, specifically and generally.

TJ is coming round for a card meeting, then supper and then cinema. Tonight's arthouse is Monsieur Lazhar- a French Canadian film - about an Algerian immigrant who replaces a teacher who has recently commited suicide. Sounds rather heavy, but I'll report back and catch up tomorrow.
