My New Home???

Today we had a female Downy Woodpecker visit our "birdhouse"...she was so inquisitive, looking all over, peeking in, looking around, peeking in, looking around, goiing part way in, looking around.....okay, let's check out the inside.....hmm, looks pretty good in here........how's the view outside?.......I like it!
This went on for a bit while I was happy snappying photos!

Then the Canada Geese came in....they are always a favorite of mine, and that sweet little Grebe thought he was one of them, swimming along with them back and forth in the sunlight! Gave me a chuckle:))
