More smoke

The fire has continued to burn overnight with little indication the firefighters have it anywhere near under control.  Evacuations are taking place and, if the fire continues to grow, could well happen across Wakefield village.  Scary stuff.  Love and thoughts to everyone who is affected in any way. Aroha too for the firefighters - ground and air - who are doing their utmost to get this beast under control in difficult conditions.  Sadly, absolutely no sign of rain anywhere in the forecast to help them.........
