Monday 2 March 2009: Snow Day
Most of today's classes were cancelled. The college was officially closed today due to snow. We had about 8" last night and further blizzards were forecast during the day, although they never really materialised. The college was on "essential staff only" so people didn't have to travel in dangerous road conditions. Now we have todays classes on Saturday instead.
Having today off gave me a bit of time to catch up with notes, work on a long-term project and do various other things. I had hoped to get a nice blip of blizzard conditions, but since it never really materialised I just have this "slushy road" shot from when I went out to get my dinner.
Only 11 sleeps until I see MrsCyclops again... Hurrah!
