Of Spring?

The weather is mild, the birds are raising a happy tune. Spring-like it might be but these are Autumn Crocus! Crocus laevigatus, just outside our front door. A bit of sunshine is all they need.

The snowdrops are shooting fast now, true harbingers of Spring but I can't help thinking we could get some winter weather yet.
