raindrop...

...on the christmas cactus

yes, people - we have life anew - on one of the cactus plants - happy skippy dancing here - for the extended blossoms which will be enjoyed in this new year...

i'm never sure - therefore don't ever count on it or take it for granted - with any of my christmas cactus plants... that there will be new buds in the new year - nope: 'cuz they can be persnickity - fussbudgetity - and just when i think i may have figured them out - well, that will be the time, when they'll decide not to conform... to revolt - go dormant - but that's okay... it keeps me on my toes...

fortunately - we've gotten some buds... and with this little budding surprise - i saw it and immediately thought "that looks like a small raindrop - waiting to fall" - as always, i'd suppose a bit of stretching with your imagination is necessary here - perhaps not... maybe you can see it right away? for me, being able to see other forms of nature - in nature - is a delightful exercise - and one that always leads to...
