Backblip
A wonderful sunset when I stepped outside the van this morning.  Chilly overnight, Lottie was shivering so ended up deep down inside the sleeping bag!  She's a real burrower!

This morning we went to Scotland's Secret Bunker, where Scotland would have been governed from had there been a nuclear emergency during the cold war.  Chilling and unnerving.  It was very interesting and fascinating, but I can't say it was enjoyable.  The extra is a modern poster which we have never come across before . . .

Shelagh kindly invited us for lunch and we had a very relaxed time.  So lovely to be able to just take up where you left off with an old friend.  Her old cat used to stand up to Ollie and obviously wasn't going to take any nonsense from Lottie, the young cat stayed upstairs and her dog was at the kennels as she was going to be out for the evening.  Shelagh had made an egg custard and stewed fruit for pud!  Mike is starting with a sore throat and it was just what he needed.

We sat and chatted, there seemed to be so much to talk about even though we write to each other and phone regularly too!  Very sad to say good bye to her, and to the East Neuk, for now.
