Home Fire

Carlo is the warmest cat of my three because he shares his body heat with me so generously. Sits on my lap, sleeps on my chest.

Smokey is my bear. He's a park ranger who prevents forest fires, and he's been with me over 50 years.

At left is a souvenir of the Monument to the Great Fire of London. Ceridwen & I visited the thing back in November but it was such a spectacle-filled day that it escaped both our blips.

It's a cold night, but I'll find some way to keep warm.
