Stars in the making

Mrs L is extremely talented. Not only is she an excellent cook, she is also pretty amazing at stitching of all descriptions, cross-stitch, embroidery and much more.
A year or so ago she took up quilting and is now on to quilt number four which is currently in its early stages.
What we're looking at here are diamond-shaped pieces that will eventually come together to form six-pointed stars.
They will then be joined together to form a quilt known as a Hexagon Star quilt.
