Sunrise at the container terminal

This morning's run took me down to the waterfront at Britomart Place, across Quay Street and along Queens Wharf. Went past the development of Shed 10, something not done for the Rugby World Cup, and being done now as a place to "welcome and farewell visitors to Auckland".

From the end of the wharf I could see that the sun was starting to give colour the the upper border of the low lying bank of cloud. So I waited around, and got this.

I like the cranes; I know I've done something like this a couple of times before. Each has its own special character though. The solitary gull up high (better seen large) is a plus, as is the colour in the water.
