Sunrise

Every night is followed by sunrise. I was up at 5.45am as planned to catch the moment of sunrise. It was a dull dreich morning as forecast so I headed for Custom House Quay where I hoped the cobbles and street lights would give me some kind of shot so I'm happy with the result.

Had a great day at work and left almost on time to begin the Edinburgh yarn road trip. Ensconced in the Marriott residence inn having enjoyed Malaysian takeout and down a couple of bottles of prosseco already. The rooms are awesome but we have an early start so can't be too raucous tonight. Looking forward to the yarn festival, heading home early in the afternoon to spend some time with Carlos as its his birthday on Monday.
