Cartoon Character

I couldn't help remembering the many cartoons by Thelwell and his horse-mad girls on their equally mad Shetland ponies, when we saw this one in contemplative mood in a field by the canal at Ratho: it fitted the image so well.

If the two animals had changed places I might have blipped the donkey, in the same field, as the pile of sticks in the photo reminded me of Eeyore's house, in the story The House at Pooh Corner.

Will I ever grow up?
