Oh dear, not very inspired today but we did manage to get the potatoes in, tucked up under black plastic; and I popped the peas into the polytunnel, and sowed some beetroot and chard. Things are happening in spite of the weather - shortly after our gardening exploits the heavens opened. No snow here but gales and lashing rain with flooding.
Not all doom and gloom though - I've been lunching - again!! Annabel gave himself a lunch voucher as a birthday present and her cafe opened today. He was allowed to take a friend! We ate royally then walked home n the rain!
Should you ever be passing Ahakista the Heron Gallery and Cafe is a fine place to stop.
