RoadRunner

the first time

I ran the Wrexham 10k today, to help raise much needed funds for my local hospice, Nightingale House.

Unfortunately Dad was too poorly to come and watch me, but I did get a phone call moments before the start which was great. And with the world's greatest supporter cheering me on just after the hill on Bryn Estyn, I was a man made.

The race was superb - brilliantly organised and a good challenging route with a fair few uphilly bits, all on closed roads. Got a new PB of 61min-14sec which really made my day - would've been a minute or two quicker had I not stopped to give my daughter kisses and hugs 3/4 in, but the sub-60 trade off was well worth it in exchange for that. TENFOLD :)
