Seasonal Change......

It wasn't that long ago I blipped the very same image, take a look here, the same rippling river but no wind today and the trees are on a slight turn and as always I like the clouds.

It was hot down by the river today, 23C. A few welcome swallows flying up and down the river, Mr and Mrs Sheldrake were on the middle riverbed warning all that I was in the area, a white-faced heron on the hunt along the edges of the river and a couple of Pied Stilts - the ones with the long pink legs, wading down the middle of the river amongst the stones.

A good day for flying, a micro-light and a couple of small aircrafts were doing circuits of 'touch and go' - perhaps some youngsters in training and high above a few jets were coming in to Christchurch or heading away to some other destination.

Another day of going to the gym results are starting to show fitness wise, got the dreaded weigh and measure tomorrow - yikes! Better fly now as hubby and I are having early bbq tea before it gets dark - I'll be back later :)
