Easter and Christmas in the same week!!

We all had a leisurely start to the day.  

As we ate lunch the conversation turned to the fact they are heading home tomorrow.  Anna got really upset (actually sobbing) saying she didn't want to go home tomorrow.  Between sobs she pointed out that she's not back at school till Wednesday so they could stay longer.  In the end we all agreed they would go home on Saturday instead of tomorrow, so Anna cheered up :-)

We had arranged to take the girls to The Nutcracker (Christmas shop in Crieff - see extra) so headed there after lunch.  You can imagine the excitement levels!  Christmas and Easter in one week!  


Faith thought the best place to practice some yoga (or yogurt as she calls it :-) was in front of the big Christmas tree :-)) They got to choose a gift each.  Anna chose a large and delicate looking unicorn (hope it survives the journey home.  I suspect it may arrive on Skye hornless!) and Faith chose a gyrating Santa who sings Rocking around the Christmas Tree!  Hahahahahaha...OMG!  They better make sure that's in the boot with the batteries removed before they head home as they will be demented if that's playing all the way there!  Oh I love buying such toys for other people's children!  :-)))


After the Christmas shop we headed to Loch Earn, stopping at Comrie to buy a tin of sweetcorn to feed the ducks.  Faith was sound asleep when we got to the water's edge and it took some effort to wake her up, but she was soon in the thick of it, throwing corn for the ducks.  There were four there when we arrived but it didn't take long for word to get out and the rest of the gang arrived. 


Sweetcorn scoffed, we left the ducks and headed home.  My sides were sore laughing when Faith showed her mum and dad her dancing snowman :-)) 


Dinner over the girls started making plans for their extra days holiday.  So many options :-)


When Sharon took Faith upstairs to bed, Faith told her "Dabid is the best Dabid and Diane is the best Diane."  I think that's the loveliest compliment I've ever received :-))
