Bunnies and Bears!

First thing this morning i noticed that the bird feeder was gone!   We found it about 15' away under a tree, was it a bear or a raccoon or......then we got curious!    This is the sight we were greeted with down the driveway....our garbage box had been completely overturned and there was garbage all over the place!   Definitely bear!    5 years ago, almost to the day, a small black bear demolished the bird feeder and we got a very clear view of it under our bedroom window.   This time however, Chance didn't bark or anything....his hearing is in decline we think.....so we have no idea when all this took place.

What a mess it was - but we got it cleaned up in short order.

See extra for a pair of  bunnies that entertained me last evening as i was having a glass of wine and a chat with my friend Charlotte.   At one point there were 2 of them jumping and dancing about, it was delightful.
