This is what is left...

after a bear decided to investigate the bird feeder!!!!

7 am wake up call from Chance the Brave Dog....going nuts in the living room....terry and i sprung out of bed and opened our curtains - and there was this large black bear, right under the window, munching on the bird feed!!!!   Stupidly we both rushed off to get our cameras and of course by the time we got back he'd gone!   But we did get a pretty good look at it....i'd say it was a full grown bear for sure!!

So now we have a totally demolished bird feeder - Terry made this bird feeder probably 20 or more years ago, and i love it :(

Another crazy day, off to get packing and do all the odds and sods before the flight tomorrow.
