Flowering currant

Busy day today and cold & wet this afternoon when I headed home. Nothing worth stopping to get cold for on the way so I dived out of the kitchen door in the short snap of evening light and caught the flowering currant. It was too windy for a sharp blip and the bees were sensibly staying home. The bit of sunshine provoked a load of washing and now it's ready to come out.....you guessed, it's raining!

I'm sorry for not commenting much recently but we have never stopped, what with Tony's cookery course (wonder what goodies he is bringing home tonight?!), Duke of Edinburgh last week and this, plus the Orienteering Champs over the weekend, we haven't had a minute! Normal service will hopefully resume next week and I'll look forward to catching up with you.
