WE DROVE TO AMELUNXEN

today. To find out if we could buy there in a shop a part for the broken roller blind. The last months we postponed our going there because of the on and off snowfalls. Amelunxen is not really far away, but it was now for the first time we visited this quiet and peaceful village. We found the shop, we bought the part and walked around the two churches. In the picture part of the church of Georg is visible. The church was build in the 12th century and it was then part of the Corvey bishopric. In the 16th centurey the church was made evangelic. The other newer church is catholic. Both churches were open.
There was also a 'Lebensgarten', garden of life, in a symbolic way designed.
Yesterday I saw and took a picture of a bombylius major in my garden. A bee fly that is a bee mimic.

My haiku:

Inside the churches
In different styles build
The quietness the same

And the proverb by Warburton:

Orthodixy is my doxy, heterodoxy is your doxy.
