The Lozarithm Lens

Flower Friday (Friday 8th July 2022)

I photographed this flower on Wednesday intending it for blip, but chose the dock or sorrel plant instead. The intervening hot days have been unkind and it was impossible to replicate the exact composition. The plant is called Pelargoniflorum because of its obvious similarity to a pelargonium, but is actually an Erodium (erodium triflorum), that would seem to owe something to a geranium, or crane's-bill as well. As I write this on Monday, despite careful evening watering, it has suffered further, but is alive.

Stop Press (Tues): It has revived and the crinkly petals have straightened out again.

With thanks to BikerBear for Flower Friday.

Lozarhythm Of The Day:
First Aid Kit - Angel (Glastonbury 2022) (recorded live, 24 June 2022, The Other Stage, Glastonbury)
This was the set that I watched on iPlayer on this day. I wanted to post their version of Don Henley's Boys Of Summer, but it isn't on You Tube (the set will be on the iPlayer until around 24 July), apart from audience recordings from other venues in very poor audio quality.
