Thursday 21 May 2009: Early bird
In the mornings and evenings at this time of year the little place outside our house is filled with swifts catching insects to feed their young in the nests under the eaves. I've tried several times to photograph them, but as their name suggests they are swift! This is my best one yet, a bit blurry but I think it gives an impression of the speed.
