Sally Mair - Loving life

Call centre?

Nope it's actually a wine bar! Well a wine cupboard at any rate but wine bar sounded better.
We went for lunch in North Berwick today, killing several birds (not puffins) with one stone.
Ali and Stuart had left their car here on Saturday after attending a wedding. They'd originally intended travelling down by train but their train was cancelled so they needed a plan B.

Yesterday was Ali's birthday but Josie wasn't well so they didn't really celebrate.

Ali and Katy are both off this week, Ali as a teacher and Katy to look after the girls.

We seized the chance and all went down to NB for lunch, we ended up in the Puffin which was rather posher than the soup and a sandwich we'd intended, but there was plenty of room for us and plenty of space to talk and catch up. We had a lovely time. The cousins all enjoyed seeing each other too. (extra).
The phone box was in a corner of the restaurant, I thought it was a very imaginative piece of furniture, I don't think it's a real phone box but it was very effective.
I drove Ali's car back up and dropped it into the garage for its MOT tomorrow. Fingers crossed, it's 16 now so getting on a bit. It started out as mine when it was 2 years old so it's lasted us well.
This evening we were at bridge, not nearly such a successful evening as last week I'm afraid. Still we weren't last.
