Optics

The lads - the would be me, Mandy's uncle David and Ewan - headed off to Hopetoun House for the RSPB Birdfair. Ewan was keen to renew his RSPB membership, David was determined to buy a spotting scope and I was driving. And considering binoculars. Quiet and rainy and really just full of charities looking for money and stalls hoping to sell bird-related stuff. Still, a nice morning's wandering and all the aspirations were fulfilled. Ewan even managed to scam two soft toys out of the lassie on the RSPB stall when he should only have got one. One for Ellen too. Chancer.
