Super .....

..... Simon.

At lunchtime today I had a trip over to Bradford to meet up with fellow blippers Yearofhappy (R) and Wendles56 (W) . We had originally planned to meet up in Saltaire but R had read there was an artwork in City Park in Bradford so we went along to see what was going on.

In the middle of the fountains was a large stone block with the word immovable carved in to it, W posed on top for a few photos and then a group of people in brown overalls started walking towards the block. The people were from a theatre group called Mind the gap. W and R have both given more details on their blips. The performances were great but caused a lot of puzzled looks from passers by.

After watching one of the performances Myself R and W popped in to one of the nice eateries on the edge of city park for lunch, I had a very nice peppered beef and beetroot sandwhich with crisps and olives and W had a tasty looking goats cheese tart, R had to leave as the time was running out on her parking meter and she had housework to do :(.

After lunch Myself and W had a look around the brilliant Rena Effendi photography exhibition in the Impressions gallery before watching another performance from the theatre group. It's been a wonderfully sunny day and everyone in and around the City park seemed to be enjoying the weather. I took a few street portraits whilst there including this one of Simon who was walking around in a Superman onesie ( he wasn't part of the theatre group ).

After saying my goodbyes to W, I caught the train over to Leeds to pick up the film I dropped off on Tuesday and have now backblipped the photo taken with my Gran's camera on Monday.

It's been a lovely day and I have taken a lot of photos, some of which I've added to a Flickr set HERE, but as R and W have blipped the theatre group already, today's blip is .....

.....Super Simon.
