The Viburnum flowers are a month late. Last year they were out early when all sorts of insects were searching for nectar. This year there have been few because of the cooler temperatures. Ever hopeful, I looked today and found the butterfly. I captured several nice shots with the wings open, but I'm delighted with this one of the closed wings. Usually they are faded, with the pattern worn away.
