Gentian Blue

After a grey and sometimes wet day, the skies cleared late afternoon.  Beautiful blue.  The sunshine caught this gentian flower in my greenhouse.  Gentiana acaulis, the Trumpet Gentian ... also a beautiful blue.  Hopefully I will see a few more gentians if I get to Switzerland in June as planned.

A work day.  I was in charge at Aber Cafe, a rare chef shift where I prep and cook the food.  A steady but not too busy day which went smoothly.  Home at six, I took Meg for a run in the ball field.  Mum and Chris once again helped out by spending some time at mine with Meg during the day.   Jamie cooked a tasty tea and as he's having an online evening with Clara, I'm having a quiet one with Meg at mine.
