Through the Mist

It is harder to get to a view of the Grose Valley these days. The Govetts Leap precinct has been closed to vehicular traffic for what seems like a year, while upgrades are being carried out to facilities. You CAN still hike to there however, which is what PelorusJack and I did this morning, The valley was choked with cloud which cleared periodically to reveal features of the hidden primeval landscape. Here is Pulpit Rock, emerging through a break in the swirling fog mist. The rock is actually several kilometres away and so I used maximum telephoto and then had to crop some more in PP.

By now, Jack is starting to see himself as some kind of permanent professional "point of interest" for my excursion pictures. He has been concerned that people must think he "hops along" rather than walks. This is because (somehow) I always show him with his left leg raised. Well guess what! See Extra.
