Winter's coming

Well, it's not officially winter for another day and a half, but the weather seems to have itself confused. Yesterday's frost was wicked - and we were the coldest in the country. Today's was actually a lot milder. Not that the rime on the leaves was much proof of that. The crystals are far better seen large.

Milder sure, but still darned cold. Mind you the afternoon turned on a fantastic blue sky for us.
