BUT THE RAIN STOPPED

at five o'clock! In the afternoon.
The garden smelled lovely when we stepped outside, walking past the baby lilac and the wisteria,
even the sun came to say hello.
The brown winter grasshopper (if that is her name) is a tiny one and I counted earlier many of them. This one will do for a picture, I thought, and started a rather difficult task.

My haiku:

The piles of stuff grow
Steadily I deal with it
When the rain starts

And the proverb:

Het is nu geen weer om zonder schip in zee te gaan.

Translation:

No weather now to put to sea without a ship.
