Solace Day 2 - Floating Along

Woke up to find the lock gate was back in working order with a temporary fix to the beam. What a relief! We continued on our way.

Made a change to plan as The B-I-L wasn't with us to see the scenic route. We turned right at Fradley Junction onto the Coventry Canal.

By 5.30 pm we were really wanting to find somewhere to moor but the Canal & River Trust has let the edge of the canal become so overgrown and the canal bottom silted up, that there are very few opportunities for a boat to pull in.

The day had gone well.
