A Venetian Mask or ...........

............. a devilish-looking, but pretty, little Aquilegia in the garden???

Another of those "didn't see it until I uploaded it" moments - to me this looks just like a (tip-tilted) carnival mask - all I have done is crop and sharpen - what you see is what was there amongst the flowers.

Nature is beautiful - and surprising.

Another doomy (dull+gloomy) morning .... hope it brightens up.
