Day 3

Both lads on site today, and one of them had to get his spare clothes sent out from home, because he's out here for the week.
The rest of the kitchen floor has been lifted, and unwanted/tiled plasterboard has been cut out. All ready to start the new floor going down tomorrow - and possibly the front door as well.
I spent a bit of time after they left marking out where sockets and light fittings needed to go; that involved a long time swithering about the activity space needed for a table, so I could decide where the dining table lamp will be going.
There's an unexpected duct in the end wall which, if it traces to the external vent, will be in an excellent position to take the cooker hood's effluvia to the outside world.
