Just as cute .....

........ as a cute thing!!!

Not a starling - they didn't oblige me today - but a very fluffy and tiny baby blue tit sitting in the cherry tree down the garden ..... when you bear in mind that the leaves are no more than three inches (7.5cms) long and the unripe cherries are just over half an inch (1.25cms) across you can tell just how small he is.

He was flitting from branch to branch and very hard to catch with the camera - I would just get focused and he would disappear ....

Thank you to everyone for the comments, stars and hearts on the "angelic starling" yesterday ...... he made it to the number one square on the spotlight page early this morning - I'm thrilled to bits.
