Cairn, Poetry Rose Garden

The theme of this commemorative garden is Scottish Poets from Burns to MacDiarmid. Constructed in Queens Park, Glasgow, in 2003, for the World Rose Convention.

"I want for my part,
Only the little white rose of Scotland
That smells sharp and sweet and breaks the heart". (Hugh MacDiarmid)
