Water Lilies in the Rain.

Just for a change it is raining here....again! it's almost july and we've had 2 sunny days of late! Took a wee walk down to the pond for the first time in about a week....the blue and yellow flag iris's are out in an amazing show of colour. These water lilies always amaze me....they don't open up any more than this! The first year i was here i kept going down to see if they'd opened like the other types of water lilies i knew, but they never did change!
