St Paul’s Ramsbottom

Still looking majestic on a wet cold March morning…… the magnolia tree is absolutely covered in blooms, it should be basking in Spring sunshine :-/

History:

St Paul’s Church is a grade II listed building, and has a prominent position in the centre of Ramsbottom, and was consecrated in 1850 on land given by a local farmer.

Shopping done, now sat having a coffee & a bacon sandwich.

My sister has finally succumbed to the Red Devil chemo (EC) known for its aggressive ness. She was fine for first 4 days, but found herself completely floored last Saturday, just slept & slept, no strength in her legs, which she is just not used to. Not feeling poorly in herself thankfully.

She is now improving slowly, spent yesterday at hers, did her shopping, lunch, put stuff away, peeled potatoes for dinner, washed pots, generally tidied round & then walked the horse aka Kobi lol…. He is sooo strong, very well behaved, but still takes effort and strength to handle him. Think he was very grateful, as he hadn’t been for a proper walk in 4 days, he is used to 2 a day normal, talk about excited lol
