Sports Day

Master Pink had his sports day today. His last one in Infants. He did very well and came third in this race - the sack race. It was a lovely afternoon, all the children did well and there was a lovely atmosphere of excitement and competition but also genuine support from the children for each one of their peers.
Miss Pink took part in the pre-school race and got a sticker. she came with her pre-school as she was booked in today, and I thought she'd rather be with her friends and be able to go back and play after their race.
Mr Pink stepped up to the mark, and ran in the "Gentleman's" race. He did really well and didn't come last! The competition between the Dads was quite strong, and their faces were a picture as they hurtled down the track!
Mr Pink had to go back to work after the race, so we got a sticker for him, which Master Pink presented to him back at home!
Next year we'll have two sports days to attend.
