Splashing the Colour

Kathleen seems in no hurry to leave our shores but since she comes with sunshine and blue skies she can tarry a little longer especially as I’ve no doubt she’s also doing her best to dry out the land.

Coffee was enjoyed in the sunshine with one Merry Widow in the morning and after lunch I was blown round the Meadows, dropping in on the way to say hello to Daughter #2 who is unusually in Edinburgh this weekend.

People were out in force despite the gusty wind enjoying the moment of another rain free day. I was amused to see a miss -caught frisbee bowl merrily along for 100yds before it was recaptured.
Despite the cold and rain of the past week, the trees are in bud and now that the Meadows daffodils are finished the tulips  in the community garden make a welcome splash of colour.
