Compost flowers

Must be time to rake out the compost if it’s sprouting tulips!

Long sunny day. Popped out for tea with C in the afternoon. I’ve not seen her this year, and it was great to catch up on her news. Good to see her looking so happy and settled with her new fella.

Crazy work, then a therapy 30 mins weeding in the garden. Washed Joey’s legs, which he hates, but when his sneezing is bad he uses his front paws like tissues so they need a wash every now and then. He hates it , of course, and therefore hates me. (Joey is a rabbit, for anyone who hasn’t met him.)

Heard the first nightingale this morning - just a few practice trills but a sure sign of summer on the way.
