2024 Friday — Dinner’s Finale

I was quickly clearing our dinner dishes from the dining table and desiring to get the pups fed when I snuck this photo. Mr. Fun was oblivious to what I was doing.

We had Trader Joe’s, actually Trader Grotto’s, Fettuccine Alfredo with garlic toast I made from fresh crushed garlic and melted butter, a tossed green salad, and a fruit cup of fresh bananas, strawberries, and grapes with a splash of heavy cream. Our meal was satisfying and delicious.

Our day has been casual, carefree, and watching for the rain to begin. Other than a few drops here and there, no rain yet, but late tonight or 2:00 or 3:00 in the morning the precipitation should arrive. I’m delighted because it will help all of our hills stay green for a little bit longer.
