Not a Bad View

It was Relay Day at the British Championships today, this time in Hutton Mulgrave and Skelder Woods.  I don't do relays any more, can't do with the pressure of running in a team and they are fun to photograph with all sorts of action happening.

After clocking up 1500 blips and before the prize-giving (where Tony's team achieved gold for the second year running) I walked up the stee, muddy field to the very top where runners were emerging from the forest and running down to the finish, and took some long shots to try capture the view, a sort of orienteering seaside postcard.

Now I'm processing back in The Hayloft.  Home tomorrow.
