Sgwarnog: In the Field

Tips

Another warm day, and another good day for butterflies, with eight species in one meadow at the edge of the woods. Among them were my first Green-veined White of the year.

The male Orange-tips are proving typically elusive when it comes to photographs, but I did catch up with this female enjoying the Bluebells.

Wildlife highlight of the day came courtesy of an irate Blackbird which chased a Tawny Owl out of the woods just in front of me.
