Ilfracombe Princess

(That's what the boat's called.)

Ilfracombe Art Trail this weekend.  We started by going in to one of our neighbour's houses, who was exhibiting her work.  Nice to meet her, and we chatted away for ages and admired her art.  Came back home for some lunch, then headed out again to visit various other venues, starting with a couple near the Torrs.  A beautiful modern house in a fantastic location with the most amazing views (and my favourite art - this artist, Alison Rowe) - and a beautiful open garden, again in a wonderful setting.

Carried on down to the seafront, to the Landmark Theatre (another venue on the trail) - had a look at the various artists' work on display there, then stopped for a coffee in the cafe, to get a break from the hot weather outside (Tim was suffering a bit).  Thankfully it cooled down a bit after that, and we walked down to the harbour, then back up Fore Street (popped into the shop where I'll be selling my photos and chatted to a couple of the people in there, including one of the founders) - and then back home again.
