Buzza Tower

This morning we woke up to very thick mist and rain, as the forecast predicted. So we did some reading in the morning and then headed out later when the rain stopped, to look in a few shops and around the little town. Later it became sunny again and I walked up to see this tower close up, it is visible from the town and the beach. It is called Buzza Tower, an old windmill that was adapted and fitted with seats all around the base to commemorate the visit of King Edward VII in 1902. It is a good spot to look down on the town the beaches and the harbour, and to watch good sunsets. See extra.
Because of rough seas the daily boat from Penzance was three hours late arriving today and many people were hanging about on the quay for hours waiting to get off the island!
