A little brightness....

......for a cold and sometimes bleak winter's day. A wild calendula growing amongst the gravel down my drive. The centre always intrigues me while the colour is warm and vibrant.

Sunny today - it was short-lived,
Happy day - the weekend is here,
Happy holidays - for all teachers and families,
Schools out - the fun begins.
